Renew
A quiet shared space where it's ok to not be ok.

Renew at Lakeside is part of a national charity, Renew Wellbeing, which helps churches set up wellbeing spaces for anyone in the local community to attend.

How Renew Works
We promote emotional and mental wellbeing with the ability to signpost people to NHS and social care services when required. We aim to foster a sense of acceptance, belonging and community to help reduce loneliness and self-isolation. We are unashamedly Christian but embrace the journeys that others are on.

What You Should Know
We are all responsible for our own wellbeing, so at Renew we operate in a co-leading style! Alongside our '5 Ways to Wellbeing' resource led by the team, we welcome guests to bring a hobby and share a hobby! We want our guests to feel encouraged and be the encouragement! There is always a quiet space for prayer and contemplation should people wish to make use of it. As part of 'Elim' we ensure that team members undergo safeguarding and DBS checks. The personal details of any guests are maintained on a secure database.
Join us on Wednesday 11:00am - 12:30pm
